Knoxville Family Photographer Meets New friends in Jacksonville, Florida

Recently Expressions Photography, Knoxville Tennessee’s professional photography team made a trip to Jacksonville, Florida. While there we had the opportunity to do a portrait session for several beautiful families. The first family we had the joy of working with was Amy & Angel and their two beautiful children. We met in a beautiful park just south of Jacksonville that was once an orange plantation before the freeze took out all the orange trees. The property has since been donated to the city and they have created a beautiful park where families can enjoy spending time together.

Knoxville Photographer – Meet my new friend Jamie

This past Sunday afternoon I had the joy of working with my newest friend Jamie. During the day she’s a photographer for a zip-line company in the Great Smokey mountains; where where she creates some very cool images for people flying through the mountains on a zip-line. But when Jamie’s not taking photos she loves modeling..and I’ve got to say she really knows her stuff. Thanks Jamie for a great afternoon of photography. I also want to thank my good friend Kortney Jarmin of Jarmin Photography for going along with me on Sunday..it’s always great to have another photographer along when creating beautiful images.

Portrait fun in the Old City…

This past Tuesday evening I had the opportunity to meet up with three of my photography students and three beautiful young ladies from Harden Valley Academy and create some beautiful portraits. It never ceases to amaze me…no matter how tired I am after a days work, taking photos just seems to invigorate me…in fact its hard to know when to stop. Tonight we went all over downtown Knoxville taking photos and having a blast getting to know each other. The girls were just perfect…I’m not sure who had the most fun…me or the girls. We all just laughed and had a super time getting to know each other and discovering beautiful light. As the evening went by and the light began to fade…the rain started to set in..but that didn’t dampen our spirits…the fun just kept on going. Thanks so much Paige, Mckenzie and Michalia you were just a delight to work with…I’m looking forward to seeing you again someday. Here are a few of the images that I created, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did creating them.

Knoxville Wedding Photographer spends a day with the beautiful Dawn and Pam

Sometimes you just need to take an afternoon with a few friends and have a good time creating some images. This afternoon I got together with two photographer friends and two beautiful models to focus on just relaxing and getting better at the skill of taking beautiful images. We had such a good time trying all kinds of poses and all kinds of lighting setups. Dawn, a professional model / actor was our first model. I’m so thankful for her willingness to spend the afternoon with us. We had such a great time that we decided to get together again..so the next weekend Dawn brought her sister Pam who is just so much fun to work with. There’s never a dull moment when you get two sisters together in the same place. Please enjoy a few of our images from the two shoots.
