Mom and Daughter – Amy and Jenna – Two Beautiful Ladies

I met Amy while I was in Jacksonville, Florida doing some family portraits. It was a beautiful afternoon at a park along the river where we finally met up for create some beautiful family images. Amy came walking up with her beyond cute little girl Jenna; they were both just bubbling with smiles. Jenna and I just hit it off right away…and wow did she give wonderful hugs…she was so much fun to talk with and watch her being a little girl.

Don’t you just love watching kids and hearing them talk about their world? I gosh I do! I think that as we grow older we loose some of the wonder of the world around us…not so with little kids…everything is new, beautiful, and exciting. I suppose thats why this Knoxville wedding and family photographer enjoys photographing children; their joy and wonder just rub off on everyone around them.

Knoxville Family Photographer Meets New friends in Jacksonville, Florida

Recently Expressions Photography, Knoxville Tennessee’s professional photography team made a trip to Jacksonville, Florida. While there we had the opportunity to do a portrait session for several beautiful families. The first family we had the joy of working with was Amy & Angel and their two beautiful children. We met in a beautiful park just south of Jacksonville that was once an orange plantation before the freeze took out all the orange trees. The property has since been donated to the city and they have created a beautiful park where families can enjoy spending time together.

Knoxville Photographer – Meet my new friend Jamie

This past Sunday afternoon I had the joy of working with my newest friend Jamie. During the day she’s a photographer for a zip-line company in the Great Smokey mountains; where where she creates some very cool images for people flying through the mountains on a zip-line. But when Jamie’s not taking photos she loves modeling..and I’ve got to say she really knows her stuff. Thanks Jamie for a great afternoon of photography. I also want to thank my good friend Kortney Jarmin of Jarmin Photography for going along with me on Sunday..it’s always great to have another photographer along when creating beautiful images.

Singing in the rain…….

Lisa and Josh from Jacksonville, Florida were in Tennessee on vacation; while they were here they wanted some portraits made. We scheduled to go out on Friday evening and do some shots in the city. Well as luck might have it…it rained and rained…I’m not talking a drizzle…I talking RAIN….

I know what you’re saying…ah that’s too bad you didn’t get to do the session. Are you kidding…we’re not going to let something like a bunch of water get in the way….WE SHOT! Not only did we create some beautiful images…we had a blast, running through the puddles, playing with umbrellas, and sitting in wet places….I hadn’t laughed so much in a long time. And once again I discovered how much fun it is to just play in the rain. Here are a few of the image from the night…I know that you will enjoy them.
