Summer time Photos

Last night I had the joy of working with some amazing students that I’m teaching about maternity photography. Between chatting I was able to capture this image of one of the beautiful families we were photographing…I’ll be posting more soon so please keep your eyes on this page.

Singing in the rain…….

Lisa and Josh from Jacksonville, Florida were in Tennessee on vacation; while they were here they wanted some portraits made. We scheduled to go out on Friday evening and do some shots in the city. Well as luck might have it…it rained and rained…I’m not talking a drizzle…I talking RAIN….

I know what you’re saying…ah that’s too bad you didn’t get to do the session. Are you kidding…we’re not going to let something like a bunch of water get in the way….WE SHOT! Not only did we create some beautiful images…we had a blast, running through the puddles, playing with umbrellas, and sitting in wet places….I hadn’t laughed so much in a long time. And once again I discovered how much fun it is to just play in the rain. Here are a few of the image from the night…I know that you will enjoy them.

Portrait fun in the Old City…

This past Tuesday evening I had the opportunity to meet up with three of my photography students and three beautiful young ladies from Harden Valley Academy and create some beautiful portraits. It never ceases to amaze me…no matter how tired I am after a days work, taking photos just seems to invigorate me…in fact its hard to know when to stop. Tonight we went all over downtown Knoxville taking photos and having a blast getting to know each other. The girls were just perfect…I’m not sure who had the most fun…me or the girls. We all just laughed and had a super time getting to know each other and discovering beautiful light. As the evening went by and the light began to fade…the rain started to set in..but that didn’t dampen our spirits…the fun just kept on going. Thanks so much Paige, Mckenzie and Michalia you were just a delight to work with…I’m looking forward to seeing you again someday. Here are a few of the images that I created, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did creating them.

Introducing Mr. Cameron Goza ~ Newborn

Expressions recently had the joy of photographing little eight day old Cameron. His parents Kelly and Royce are so excited about this little guy…they just glowed every time we showed them one of the photographs. Cameron is just a delight to be around. When we arrived Kelly had Cameron ready for his first professional portraits…and Cameron didn’t let her down…he just smiled, cuddled and did everything possible to make the session a success. Thanks Cameron..you’re the best ever.

The session was lead by Expressions children photography Rebecca Bostrom, who did just a wonderful job creating beautiful images for this beautiful family. We are looking forward to our next session with Cameron and his parents and the joy of photographing them over and over. Thanks friends for your warm hospitality and for choosing Expressions Photography to save your families memories.

Be sure and check out more of Rebecca’s work at Little Expressions Photography.
