The first time we tried to get together it poured down rain and we had to post pone the sessions. But a couple of weeks later the weather was in our favor and so we met at the beautiful University of Tennessee gardens. Abby kept us all laughing and running around the garden. We had such a good time together…I hope you enjoy some of the many beautiful images that Rebecca and I were able to capture.

Trevor and Erin met at work and over the span of about a year they became really great friends. One night the attended a birthday party for a mutual friend and Erin made the first move…”I ask him to dance. I really thought he would say not but to my surprise he said yes and we’ve been together ever since that dance.”

It seems that they had this running joke that “if we ever got engaged that all I was getting from him was a ring made out of paperclips.” It turns out that Trevor had some amazing plans for Erin that she had no clue about…you see one day he took Erin to Dollywood and while there suggested that they ride the ferris wheel so they could get a good view of the beautiful mountains they both love so much. When they got nearly to the top Trevor reached into his pocket to get his phone; Erin says “I thought he was going to take a picture of us with it but instead he started playing this song…”

As the song was playing “he pulled out the paperclip ring from his pocket and ask me to marry him…..of course I said YES” through the tears of joy running down my cheeks. But this guy wasn’t finished he reached into his pocket again placed a beautiful ring on Erin’s finger and said he “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Trevor and Erin are an amazing couple who love spending time together in the beautiful Smokey mountains. When their not in the mountains they enjoy spending time with their dogs, watching movies, cooking together, hanging out on the porch swing, and being with our friends and family.

Erin and Trevor will be married on October 9th, 2010 in those mountains they love so much. It’s going to be an amazing celebration as two families join together.

Expressions is proud to announce it’s latest addition. Rebecca Bostrom has joined the Expressions team to help us with children and family portraits. You are going to love the way Rebecca relates with children and how she always seems to be able to capture them at the cutest moments being themselves. Please check out our new kids page to see some of her work. Give Expressions a call this week and set up a time to meet with Rebecca and get her to create some beautiful portraits of your children.
A bit over two years ago Allison and Adam ask Expressions Photography to take their engagement and wedding photography in Knoxville, Tennessee. They were so much fun to work with. In fact a bit after they were married Expressions offered a photography workshop with master photographer Rob Heyman in Knoxville and was in need of a young couple to model. We got in touch with Adam and told him what were were doing and ask if they would be willing to take part. As always they were so willing to come and help out the photographers.
This was just the beginning to our relationship with this amazing couple. About nine months ago Allsion contacted Expressions with the exciting news that they were having a baby in the spring and ask if we would do their maturity photography and baby photography. Expressions commitment to our families is a life long commitment. So over the past few months we’ve been photographing with amazing couple, and this past week we had the joy of photographing their new son Nathan. Nathan is only 12 days old in the images but he’s already a joy to his parents.
