It was a beautiful afternoon at a park along the river where we finally met up for create some beautiful family images. Amy came walking up with her beyond cute little girl Jenna; they were both just bubbling with smiles. Jenna and I just hit it off right away…and wow did she give wonderful hugs…she was so much fun to talk with and watch her being a little girl.

Don’t you just love watching kids and hearing them talk about their world? I gosh I do! I think that as we grow older we loose some of the wonder of the world around us…not so with little kids…everything is new, beautiful, and exciting. I suppose thats why this Knoxville wedding and family photographer enjoys photographing children; their joy and wonder just rub off on everyone around them.

We met in the historic old city part of the town and headed out looking for great locations that had amazing light. We were both amazed by all the great places. Robert is a professional chef and he took on the amazing task of providing gourmet food for the entire wedding….so while Amanda was out with the girls doing hair and makeup…Robert and a few of his closest friends were at the venue preparing a feast for the wedding attendees. It was so much fun watching Robert and his friend work…it was truly a gift of love.

Once their families started arriving it wasn’t hard to understand where Amanda and Robert’s love for life and family come from. This was truly a celebration of family…from the hugs and stories to the beautiful music played under the shade of huge trees…this was a magical celebration. Amy’s mom Sue met us at the door and greeted us into her amazing home…and before we could get in the door around the corner came our beautiful bride. Amy looked gorgeous..she was beaming with excitement knowing that today would be the beginning of an amazing future that she and Jason would make together.

The day was filled with stories of their love for family, their joy of friendship, and the power of their faith. I felt so blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate with this family as they joined together to celebrate this beautiful wedding.
