It was a really cold afternoon in east Tennessee but Pam was excited about having creating some very cool portraits. We met in the historic old city part of the town and headed out looking for great locations that had amazing light. We were both amazed by all the great places. Pam lives in a wonderful little town that is full of beautiful places. Please enjoy a few of the images we created for her.

As a Knoxville family and portrait photographer I meet so many families and have the joy of photographing them enjoying life together and creating beautiful memories. A couple of weeks ago I had the joy of spending time with Scott and Rose’s family. Their daughter is a senior at William Blount High School and will be heading off to college next fall. They are a wonderful family who understand the importance of perserving family memories…and so they asked Expressions Photography of Knoxville, Tennessee to create a collection of images to help them remember the wonderful times they have together celebrating family. During the day she’s a photographer for a zip-line company in the Great Smokey mountains; where where she creates some very cool images for people flying through the mountains on a zip-line. But when Jamie’s not taking photos she loves modeling..and I’ve got to say she really knows her stuff. Thanks Jamie for a great afternoon of photography. I also want to thank my good friend Kortney Jarmin of Jarmin Photography for going along with me on Sunday..it’s always great to have another photographer along when creating beautiful images.

It never ceases to amaze me…no matter how tired I am after a days work, taking photos just seems to invigorate me…in fact its hard to know when to stop. Tonight we went all over downtown Knoxville taking photos and having a blast getting to know each other. The girls were just perfect…I’m not sure who had the most fun…me or the girls. We all just laughed and had a super time getting to know each other and discovering beautiful light. As the evening went by and the light began to fade…the rain started to set in..but that didn’t dampen our spirits…the fun just kept on going. Thanks so much Paige, Mckenzie and Michalia you were just a delight to work with…I’m looking forward to seeing you again someday. Here are a few of the images that I created, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did creating them.
