Newborn Family Time….

Rebecca Bostrom, children photographer in Knoxville, TN spent a wonderful afternoon with a beautiful newborn and his family. From the looks of these images I’d say they had a great time together.

The first time we tried to get together it poured down rain and we had to post pone the sessions. But a couple of weeks later the weather was in our favor and so we met at the beautiful University of Tennessee gardens. Abby kept us all laughing and running around the garden. We had such a good time together…I hope you enjoy some of the many beautiful images that Rebecca and I were able to capture.

The phone rang…it was my oldest daughter Rebecca. “Are you guys busy? …. Great, Jeff, the boys and I are just a mile away and we have a gallon of ice-cream. You guys put on the brownies.” I’m so bless to have such a wonderful family. Max wanted to go down to the game room and play with the pool balls but then he noticed my camera set up in the studio…he pointed to the set and said “picture?” Well you know what I did. I grabbed the little guy up, put him on a stool and started shooting. He loves it when the big soft box goes off and then beeps. A few minutes later Carol brought Cooper down and sat him in the middle of the pool table…he and his brother had so much fun rolling the balls from one end of the table to another. We’ll Cooper can’t sit on a stool…so the softbox came to him…LOL.

Second Shooting for Kortney Jarman of Jarman Photography

My friend Kortney of Jarman Photography had a double family shoot this past weekend and ask if I would like to go along and second shoot….we’ll he didn’t have to twist my arm very hard…I think he knew that I never turn down a chance to shoot. He had lined up a Christmas Tree farm to take the family to and do some portraits; the day was beautiful and the families were just wonderful. You know the best thing about 2nd shooting is I’m not responsible; I can just shoot like crazy, try out new ideas…just have a wonderful time, and if I get a few shots well that great but if I don’t…NP.

Expressions photography of Knoxville, Tennessee spends most of its time doing wedding photography, engagement photography and individual portraits…so when the opportunity comes up to take some family images I jump at the chance to practice.
