Knoxville Wedding Photography – Amanda and Robert’s Wedding Celebration

Knoxville wedding photography team from Expressions Photography recently had the privileged of photographing Amanda and Roberts wedding celebration; it was a beautiful celebration of family and friends.

Robert is a professional chef and he took on the amazing task of providing gourmet food for the entire wedding….so while Amanda was out with the girls doing hair and makeup…Robert and a few of his closest friends were at the venue preparing a feast for the wedding attendees. It was so much fun watching Robert and his friend work…it was truly a gift of love.

Once their families started arriving it wasn’t hard to understand where Amanda and Robert’s love for life and family come from. This was truly a celebration of family…from the hugs and stories to the beautiful music played under the shade of huge trees…this was a magical celebration. Knoxville Photographer – Meet my new friend Jamie

This past Sunday afternoon I had the joy of working with my newest friend Jamie. During the day she’s a photographer for a zip-line company in the Great Smokey mountains; where where she creates some very cool images for people flying through the mountains on a zip-line. But when Jamie’s not taking photos she loves modeling..and I’ve got to say she really knows her stuff. Thanks Jamie for a great afternoon of photography. I also want to thank my good friend Kortney Jarmin of Jarmin Photography for going along with me on Sunday..it’s always great to have another photographer along when creating beautiful images.

Singing in the rain…….

Lisa and Josh from Jacksonville, Florida were in Tennessee on vacation; while they were here they wanted some portraits made. We scheduled to go out on Friday evening and do some shots in the city. Well as luck might have it…it rained and rained…I’m not talking a drizzle…I talking RAIN….

I know what you’re saying…ah that’s too bad you didn’t get to do the session. Are you kidding…we’re not going to let something like a bunch of water get in the way….WE SHOT! Not only did we create some beautiful images…we had a blast, running through the puddles, playing with umbrellas, and sitting in wet places….I hadn’t laughed so much in a long time. And once again I discovered how much fun it is to just play in the rain. Here are a few of the image from the night…I know that you will enjoy them.

Knoxville Wedding Photographer spends a day with the beautiful Dawn and Pam

Sometimes you just need to take an afternoon with a few friends and have a good time creating some images. This afternoon I got together with two photographer friends and two beautiful models to focus on just relaxing and getting better at the skill of taking beautiful images. We had such a good time trying all kinds of poses and all kinds of lighting setups. Dawn, a professional model / actor was our first model. I’m so thankful for her willingness to spend the afternoon with us. We had such a great time that we decided to get together again..so the next weekend Dawn brought her sister Pam who is just so much fun to work with. There’s never a dull moment when you get two sisters together in the same place. Please enjoy a few of our images from the two shoots.
