While in Nashville for PPA Kortney and I decided to take a road-trip over to photographer’s toy story — Durry’s — just an amazing place to visit.
We spent time browsing and buying toys that we just couldn’t live with…we stayed there until our wallets were screaming, “enough, enough!!!”. After an adventure like that we really needed something for lunch…so we hit the GPS looking for something good yet something fast…we settled on a fast-food place and told the GPS to get us there. Driving down a side road we noticed a really small place surrounded by cars. We looked the place over and decided to give it a try.

Don’t judge a book by its cover really fits this place. Looking at it from the outside mades have second thoughts…but man I’m really glad that we decided to stop. The place is really small, there’s enough room to place an order and some barstools along the window ceils where you can sit and enjoy these amazing dogs. Out back there are some picnic tables..and because it was so cold they had enclosed the area with plastic and heated the place with a gas heater…it was a super place to enjoy lunch.
When it was our turn we were greeted at the counter by some of the most amazing ladies I met in a long time. They really were glad that we had come for lunch. They welcomed us, helped us understand the many different selections and served us with beautiful smiles. What a refreshing change from the many other places I been to lately. We were confronted with a list of selections that ranged from a basic dog to a dog covered with everything you can imagine. Oh..did I mention the fries. WOW! The fries were just amazing…cooked to order and really crispy.
